ALL Saints

One of my favorite designers now is "All Saints"
After purchasing my first article of All Saints in this post during a trip in New York City- I kept my eyes out for other designs that would come out of this new company.
This special dress from All Saints is a chiffon dress that was a "got to have". I bought it from their flagship store in LA. I feel like a goddess in this dress I want to never wear anything else- sleep in it forever haha. Plus this dress is so airy, breathable and has beautiful tailoring with lots of sweeping drapery. The necklace I have on is from back in my Moms designing days when she had her own line shown in the first Fashion Week held in Cape Town South Africa (you can sense the African inspiration). The bangles are from Nordstroms from a long time ago haha.
Be sure to check out All Saints if you are looking for great funky knitwear and fantastic leathers- a very BoHo chic line.

Buffalo MegA Burger

Watching all of my weekly Foody shows like- "Next Food Network Star","IronChef", "Chopped", "Cake Boss","Hell's Kitchen", and especially "Best Thing I Ever Ate"- give me BIG cravings. One persistent craving was the "BURGER" but I am not a huge fan of red meat and all of the cholesteral and grease that a typical burger has. SoI put a healthier twist on this Buffalomeat Burger....

Today I satisfied a big craving and established a monster burger that is now the "Best "BURGER" I Ever Ate." I toasted the bread- but it didn't matter lol the juices from this crazy buffalo burger left a soup on my plate nom nom dripp. I let my mom have a bite...then she asked for another and another .. Until I just cooked her one of her own.. that we kinda split too hahah. It was SOO good. just wow.

This Burger contains

Buffalo Meat

Chopped Onions

2tbl Tomato Paste

Salt, Pepper

Vegan Worcestershire Sauce

To complete the burger I added finely chopped arugula, sweet caper mustard, white tomato slices and all brought in with a piece of organic prairie bread(Fresh from the holy Whole Foods haha)that has pumpkin seeds ,sunflower seeds , and more seeds- I love bird food haha

Have a great rest of the week,
Carter

New Shoe in Town

These new shoes have created quite a steer with sceptics. Each futuristic shoe has caused eye brows to be raised for there look-alike "hurting" similarity to Chinese foot binding. Good point but totally not valid for any die-hard fashionista Yet we say"Bring It On". Who could think up and execute such a creative cutting edge design? Richard Darell founded Bit Rebels in 2009, Minervity.com. Richard's creativity has also led him to be a successful song writer and producer for International artists. Richard hails from Stockholm, Sweden and shares a second home in Los Angeles. Follow Richard on Twitter::: @Minervity
Which shoe is your favorite?
I love the Third shoe(right above this) and the last shoe. Why? The third one is super sleek and takes your average Louboutin and takes it up a notch. I love the last one because of its color scheme and resemblance of a Prada wedge.

LaLoo's!!

I always love to share things that are "mind blowing" and this week I was lucky enough to learn about this frozen natural treat. Checking LaLoo's website showed me the locations around my area where I could indulge =). They had only 3 of their exotic flavors at Whole Foods and I just bought one as a demo taster. Boy oh boy after diving my spoon into this pint-  I was sold and really upset that I didn't get the other two flavors at Whole Foods =P. LaLoo's'  is all natural goats milk ice cream and the flavor Strawberry Darling, in the photos, contains whole pieces of strawberries in a strawberry goat's milk ice cream with rich globs of sweat balsamic woven throughout in thick waves of richness. LaLoo's has lots of yummy flavors- some traditional with a modern twist and some that will soon become your own daily wicked indulgence haha. Trust me on this one....it is decadent and explodes with flavor. Not a strawberry lover? Check out the other flavors and find a location near you.

Enjoy and Indulge,
Carter

Doggy

Sorry this is a little blurry but I am right in the middle of a tug of war.....

Hello there, my name is Angel

Ruff Ruff
The beautiful white Westie dog is my "Angel" Doggie and the brown nugget at the bottom is my "Leo" Doggie. Leo and Angel are like ying and yang. They say that dogs and owners have similar traits....well, Leo has the devilish part of me and Angel - she is the Angel half. Doesn't Angel look like the Lil' Caesar dog??

I have really missed these doggies while being off at Boarding School for the past five years. Just when we start to reconnect - boom, I have to leave and head back to school. But now....joy....I have lots of time to play and cuddle (well with Angel anyway). Leo, our "Sumo" Yorkie (a new breed name we have made up for him) isn't one to cuddle with anyone other than my Mom....unless I have food in my hand...then, he becomes my best friend....but only momentarily. I am positive he is bi-polar....one minute he is this alluring, sweet, adorable little guy and then he turns into a psycho dog wanting to rip my face off...seriously!!! I have battle scars on my butt, hands, legs and anything else he could get his teeth into. These doggies are amazing though....Angel is by far, the BEST dog ever....all she wants to do is play and be loved. Leo, well he is Mr. Charisma (with sharp teeth). Anyway, if you want to follow the life and times of these two pups, you can friend them both on Facebook...Yep, they both have Facebook pages....it was all Leo's idea....when he found out that the dogs at Farmville got Kibbles and Treats then he was all about that scene....

Yep, I can do tricks for treats.....I have a great sense of balance...

Hey.....wanna play? This is my special Where the Wild Things Are hand puppet

Gotta figure out a way to get around that nasty little Leo...I'll sneak up on him....bahahaha

Leo, hoping that something edible will fall!

See what I mean.....who wouldn't love that face....?

Black and White

This post is dedicated to the new hardcover DC Comics "Bat Women"
preview: Batwoman battles a madwoman known only as Alice, inspired by Alice in Wonderland, who sees her life as a fairy tale and everyone around her as expendable! Batwoman must stop Alice from unleashing a toxic death..

Here are a few "Black and White" pieces from the closet that I have thrown together. These patterns of "Black and White" make a dramatic scheme. I figured I would push this look a little further with a pungent red lip.&. theatrical photos.. enjoy

Dolce and Gabbana Jacket, Chanel inspired extra-long chain necklace and Colin Stuart shoes.

Sending mind control waves to the shoe, but it still is not moving haha

I SPY:::Can you spot the shoe??

Hysterical videos from our friend the "Old Spice Man" I went through the videos that he has submitted so far and I think that these are the funniest.

Ballerina

Dancing through life... but dancing through life in pointe shoes is a dance that I decided to leave a while ago haha it hurts alot but I still love to slip on these shoes reminisce and maybe even tiptoe around the house aha. It is the beginning of a new week and I am very excited. I bought two beautiful pieces of wood for my next painting eeeek. I love painting on wood - not only does it takes the oil paint beautifully but it also is so much cheaper than canvas. The size that I got in my wood is 4' x 8' feet which cost 17 dollars and with a pre-stretched canvas it would come out too 100 dollars. WIN. Lots of smiles this weekend. But- today I found out that I will not be able to get my favoite drink- "SYNERGY" GT's Kombucha- anywhere for who knows how long. so sad so sad. Turns out that the FDA wanted to pull it for a bit for a reason that I thought was just "stupid"-lack of a betterword. Maybe I'll just make some homemade Kombucha then HA! Now for more smiles FASHION haha here we go...

Fashion: I am wearing a BEBE runway dress (look at the esquiste designs on the bottom of the dress below) it has a razorback and a bit of tulle under the dress to make it look and feel like a ballerina. In the first picture- it shows my pointe shoes and a vintage feather and crystal hat.
