Doggy

Sorry this is a little blurry but I am right in the middle of a tug of war.....

Hello there, my name is Angel

Ruff Ruff
The beautiful white Westie dog is my "Angel" Doggie and the brown nugget at the bottom is my "Leo" Doggie. Leo and Angel are like ying and yang. They say that dogs and owners have similar traits....well, Leo has the devilish part of me and Angel - she is the Angel half. Doesn't Angel look like the Lil' Caesar dog??

I have really missed these doggies while being off at Boarding School for the past five years. Just when we start to reconnect - boom, I have to leave and head back to school. But now....joy....I have lots of time to play and cuddle (well with Angel anyway). Leo, our "Sumo" Yorkie (a new breed name we have made up for him) isn't one to cuddle with anyone other than my Mom....unless I have food in my hand...then, he becomes my best friend....but only momentarily. I am positive he is bi-polar....one minute he is this alluring, sweet, adorable little guy and then he turns into a psycho dog wanting to rip my face off...seriously!!! I have battle scars on my butt, hands, legs and anything else he could get his teeth into. These doggies are amazing though....Angel is by far, the BEST dog ever....all she wants to do is play and be loved. Leo, well he is Mr. Charisma (with sharp teeth). Anyway, if you want to follow the life and times of these two pups, you can friend them both on Facebook...Yep, they both have Facebook pages....it was all Leo's idea....when he found out that the dogs at Farmville got Kibbles and Treats then he was all about that scene....

Yep, I can do tricks for treats.....I have a great sense of balance...

Hey.....wanna play? This is my special Where the Wild Things Are hand puppet

Gotta figure out a way to get around that nasty little Leo...I'll sneak up on him....bahahaha

Leo, hoping that something edible will fall!

See what I mean.....who wouldn't love that face....?

Black and White

This post is dedicated to the new hardcover DC Comics "Bat Women"
preview: Batwoman battles a madwoman known only as Alice, inspired by Alice in Wonderland, who sees her life as a fairy tale and everyone around her as expendable! Batwoman must stop Alice from unleashing a toxic death..

Here are a few "Black and White" pieces from the closet that I have thrown together. These patterns of "Black and White" make a dramatic scheme. I figured I would push this look a little further with a pungent red lip.&. theatrical photos.. enjoy

Dolce and Gabbana Jacket, Chanel inspired extra-long chain necklace and Colin Stuart shoes.

Sending mind control waves to the shoe, but it still is not moving haha

I SPY:::Can you spot the shoe??

Ballerina

Dancing through life... but dancing through life in pointe shoes is a dance that I decided to leave a while ago haha it hurts alot but I still love to slip on these shoes reminisce and maybe even tiptoe around the house aha. It is the beginning of a new week and I am very excited. I bought two beautiful pieces of wood for my next painting eeeek. I love painting on wood - not only does it takes the oil paint beautifully but it also is so much cheaper than canvas. The size that I got in my wood is 4' x 8' feet which cost 17 dollars and with a pre-stretched canvas it would come out too 100 dollars. WIN. Lots of smiles this weekend. But- today I found out that I will not be able to get my favoite drink- "SYNERGY" GT's Kombucha- anywhere for who knows how long. so sad so sad. Turns out that the FDA wanted to pull it for a bit for a reason that I thought was just "stupid"-lack of a betterword. Maybe I'll just make some homemade Kombucha then HA! Now for more smiles FASHION haha here we go...

Fashion: I am wearing a BEBE runway dress (look at the esquiste designs on the bottom of the dress below) it has a razorback and a bit of tulle under the dress to make it look and feel like a ballerina. In the first picture- it shows my pointe shoes and a vintage feather and crystal hat.

Hermes and Twilight

Through my Hermes collection I found a few keepers. Hermes is traditionally known for its scarves- and the scarf below are the ones that I have fallen in love with and are staying with me a little while longer hehe. EXCEPT the last scarf in this post is for sale. The scarf that is for sale at the bottom- has an abstract horse theme to it which is truly lovely. Now, Hermes has transcended into a more extensive designer that now makes beautiful scarves, clothing and accessories. These bracelets are one of Hermes highly sought after accessory. But I am not going to talk about Hermes for the entirety of this post haha....
Today I saw the new Twilight movie. Well.. from an 18 year old girl note- it was a "giddy" feeling movie . BUT. from an actor note- not feeling it. I have tried to get into this series but it is very hard for me to get a hold on it. I am not a big book reading lover because I am such a demanding reader. What kills me with reading books is that some books you have to read the first 5 chapters in order to get to the good stuff--- when put in that position I read the 2 chapters in and I am out with putting the book down lol. I try though... I do try lol. But any ways- I have talked to my friends who are dedicated lovers of  Twilight and they tell me "If you have read the books, you will be team Edward" hmmm... which is very confusing because in this last movie there was wayyyy more chemistry between "jacob" and "bella"(as actors) instead of the "bella" and "edward" pairing as actors. idk, I just really dislike the acting in this last movie- don't get me wrong there were fantastic parts where I thought the acting was spot on. What made me a little apprehensive in the "believement" of this movie/ series is just the awkward feeling I get.. it is almost that I dont want anyone to interact because it looks like it takes so much energy to speak and make an action... very awkward. lol Though I can think harshly about the acting ability in this series I leave the movies always proud of these actors. It is hard to get to that pinnacle that those actors have arrived to. They all deserve it... =)
There is one actor that I have been watching and been intrigued by.. his name is Jackson Rathbone(plays Jasper). My favorite thing he has been in was his - Criminal Minds Episode.. He was so great. I did some research on him and it looks like he went to the Interlochen School and was born in Singapore... kool.. More recently he was in The Last Airbender as well. Check him out online.

ALO

Constantly looking for new eats/drinks that help nurture the body, ALO Drinks have become a new drinkable passion. These drinks I found while walking around in Whole Foods reading and learning about a few natural energy choices. These drinks have no preservatives, no artificial flavors and are all natural. ALO Drinks start with the sophisticated aloe plant that has been used for external benefits but now have been found to have tremendous nutritional internal benefits. Not only does the Aloe plant help with digestion, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, but it also has lots of enzymes, vitamins and minerals. The drinks have natural Aloe pulp in them which taste like the sweet, light Asian fruit Lychees. I have only been able to get my hands on a few Alo drinks but the new ones that I have - cranberry+ pomegranate and grapefruit+lemon+pomelo- look really good. But the ones that I have tried and have a huge nutritional benefit are "Awaken" and "Elated." "Awaken" has Aloe and wheatgrass. Wheatgrass is known for its density of vitamins minerals, chlorophyll and enzymes. Wheatgrass has twice as many nutrients than any other vegetable and is known to help metabolism and circulation. "Elated" has olive leaf in it and after researching- the benefits of olive leaf were surprising. Olive leaf is packed with more antioxidants than green tea. Olive leaf is a antibiotic and has anti-viral properties which can boost the immune system. All of the ALO Drinks that I have tried have been also very very tasty. You can buy them in most Whole Food Stores and you can even buy them online. I highly recommend them for both taste and nutritional value....Check out Alo Drinks here.
