Ponte Vedra Inn & Club

The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is a 5 diamond resort. I have grown up as a member of this club. Every Easter Sunday I would go out on the beach and have "Sunrise Service" brought by the church and then crossed the street to do a scavenger hunt to find the golden egg in the elegant lawns of this club. It truly is an elegant get away.

Beachy Abode

While I am in Florida,I am staying in this very modern two story beach house. It is just across the street from the beach, which is a very good location. It is located inbetween The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club and The Lodge. It is just a little walk away from both.

Asian Escape

Midnight Sun is a spiritual store that carries products from all over Asia. The owner travels to Nepal,India, Thailand, Philippines and etc. every year to bring back only the best furniture, figurines, jewelry and spiritual products(example: 100% natural Shea butter from Africa, Rose oils and incense made from the grounds of Indian precious plants). Down Below you will see the top of an umbrella, festive mask, and celebratory trinkets.

Florida: Day Two

First stop of the day was a big breakfast at Mochi Frozen Yogurt....

Mochi: A rice cake; soft and chewy... and come in strawberry and greentea flavors? Awesome! I was all over it.....

My mom got the pink mochi and I got the green tea, coconut with tons of raspberry and strawberries on the bottom as a "cherry on the bottom" surprise. I got the mango and coconilla flavors. I recommend them.

Interesting Chanel frame. I loved the cross hatching of the brown and black.

I put these David Yurman sunglasses in my post for the texture color given by this frame.. very pretty. The color is almost like a murky tortoise shell.
I really like these glasses, they are by Selma. The picture below it is me with the same pare of Selma glasses but in PURPLE.

Funky.

I saw this small Balenciaga leather bracelet. Balenciaga is one of my favorite designers.
I was drown to the name of this store. PH8 said out loud is meant to be heard as "Fate." But the PH= the P.H. Balance in your body and with the 8= the infinity sign turned on its head. Very creative.

Today, I wore my Eileen Shield shoes, my Harem chiffon PHI pants (PHI is an amazing fashion line, but sadly went out of business. I was there when they were closing their huge store in NYC, I picked these 1,230 pants for 75 dollars, Steel) I am also wearing a LuLu Lemon tank that I picked up earlier. The jacket? Oh the jacket, just look below...

This is a reversible Custo Barcelona jacket that is a mix of silk material velvet snake lining and gold studs on the snake skin. I guess you just have to wait to see what the other side looks like..

In support of Breast Cancer, these bra pocket books were made. These bags are made with folding bras in half and stitching them together. Very Nice.
Giant crown.. It was going to make my head cave in, it was so heavy.
Cruisers Grill. WOW.

This grill is native to Ponte Vedra, Florida. They have the most amazing and hearty cheddar burgers that my brother always gets. Though I am not a huge fan of anything fried, i decided to order them and have a couple in his honor while he is away at school in Ohio. I love him so much. I took a picture of it and sent it to him.. he was envious.


At Cruisers, my favorite thing is the Teriyaki Grilled Chicken. Seriously. Blows my mind every-time. I was wondering while I was eating this, Who has the better chicken? The Amish in Lancaster PA or Cruisers. It must be a tie.

Florida: Day 1

I am safely in Florida.

I am wearing my Eileen Shield shoes today. Let me tell you a little about a few of my shoes...

These four pair of heels are some of the steels in my closet. The black pattent leather and the nude platform's in the front are from the Irish- New York based designer Eileen Shields. Her shoes are very retro and minimalistic. When my mom first bought the black ones i was surprised, and will admit upset. I didn't understand them. But as you can see, I understood them just in time to obsess over the nude platforms to get them for Christmas this year =). The lover-ly shoes in the bottom corner of this post are Anyi Lu. Anyi Lu was the shoe designer for Taryn Rose. She broke away to make a new line that is very flirty and oh so comfortable. Anyi Lu's shoes mold to your foot, do not squeeze the toes, displace pressure evenly and has a formulated sole and heel that help to prevent further back problems. The brown leather boots in the back are BeBe shoes.(you can really find great and less pricey interpretation of the hottest shoes of the season with BeBe.)

Sunny with Shoes

Finally, my last day in my home in Philly and the weather is a dream...
With the atmosphere being more than I could ask for,not a cloud in the sky, a cool breeze and a warm sun, a smile simulated through a post about some of my favorite shoes is necessary. It would be silly to think that I could blog about all of my shoes at one time...(due to the fact that I have several closets full,no joke).
I am dedicating this particular post to my favorite vintage Chanel and Rene Caovilla(who is known for inventing the concept of "jewelry shoes" her shoes are made with real Swarovski crystals) shoes.The thing is my mother and I wear the same size in shoes(fashion fate?I think so). So when it comes to everything life has to offer, lets just say we love to support the most obvious or underground of artists, visionaries and lovers. What can we say? We are them.

Hello, Hello.
This morning I woke up to another rainy day. It has been raining here in Philly for 4 days straight,good way to start your first week of spring break, eh? So For this rainy day I thought a smoothie would be a good way to escape it. I put 1cup of Pom juice, half of lime, a container of blueberries, a cup of frozen Goji berries and a cup big spoon fulls of Fage greek yogurt..YUM
For a little crunch.. i put the smoothie as if it was a milk in cereal..
